Hey there! I'm Sherri, and welcome to Nellie + Mae Boutique online. This store was a dream of mine for several years, and now it's come to life!

The boutique is named after my grandmothers, Nellie and Blanche Mae, who were instrumental and a huge part of my life growing up in the South. Summers and weekends, I was with one or the other grandmother. You could find me picking blue hydrangeas or veggies from a garden and always, always running wild in their big yards.

Nellie and Blanche Mae frequently took me shopping, and that's where my passion for fashion came to life! I remember feeling so great about myself in amazing clothes and shoes. This is what led me to a career in retail. I enjoyed helping others select outfits and curate special pieces for events or staples for their wardrobe.

After years of assisting guests and running store teams, I felt like I had accomplished my goals working for others in the retail world. I prayed hard for years and decided to take the leap of faith and create a space to continue to do what I love. Nellie + Mae will allow me to spend time with family and in my community and provide affordable, special pieces that women of all ages will love.

The pieces at Nellie + Mae are trendy, chic, and curated personally by me. I have kept in mind different lifestyles, ages of guests, and even the small details of the fabric. Some are elevated, while others are cozy. But all are to help you feel and look your best!
